Hi.

I'm running WinXP SP2 and IE 6.0.

Recently, a new condition has presented itself on my machine. When I

click on a legitimate pop-up window, the pop-up comes up for about 1

second, then closes. This happens with the IE pop-up blocker enabled

or disabled. Sometimes I see a javascript error but there are also

times when I get no indication of a problem.

This happens with pop-up like when visiting some shopping site and

there is a "click for larger image" type link. (E.g. buy.com product

selection).

This just started happening ... which leaves me baffled. I've reset

all IE settings to default values ... no change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oren

It's only been two hours. Give it some time.

    • Do you have any antispyware/antiadware software running? If so, disable it

      and test.

Also, the fixes at this link may apply:

    • Do you have Ad-Watch running? Set "monitoring off" and all works fine.
